WELCOME!

Visiting a new church can feel overwhelming — but we want your first visit to Buena Vista Seventh-day Adventist Church to feel like coming home.
Whether you’re exploring faith, new to the area, or looking for a place to belong, we’re excited to welcome you into our church family.

When You Arrive

From the moment you step through our doors, you’ll be greeted with a warm smile and a helping hand. Whether you’re looking for the restrooms, children’s spaces, a comfy seat, or just someone to chat with, our friendly greeters are here to make you feel at home.

Our Bible Study

Our Bible study time, called Sabbath School, begins at 9:30 AM every Saturday morning.

If you have children, one of our greeters will be happy to help you find the right classroom for them. Once they’re settled, you’re invited to join one of our three adult classes:

  • Young Adult Class – meets in the Fellowship Hall
  • Table Talk Bible Study – an open, discussion-style group
  • Sanctuary Bible Study – a traditional class that follows the Sabbath School Quarterly

No matter which class you choose, you’ll find friendly people, engaging discussion, and practical lessons from God’s Word.

Our Worship Service

Join us every Saturday at 11:00 AM for a meaningful time of worship, prayer, and a message rooted in the Bible—designed to help us follow Jesus in everyday life. Our music blends timeless hymns with modern songs, creating a space that’s both reverent and relaxed.

We love having children and families as part of our church community! At 9:30 AM during Sabbath School, kids can dive into Bible stories, crafts, fun activities, and time with friends—all in age-based classrooms designed just for them.

At our 11:00 AM worship service, children are always welcome to stay with you in the sanctuary. For parents who need a quieter space, we offer a mother’s room where you can comfortably listen and watch the service, including a private area for nursing.

Whether your child is shy, energetic, wiggly, or chatty—they’re welcome here. We’re a church family, and that includes our littlest members.

Our Address
Buena Vista Seventh-day Adventist Church
2335 Magnolia Ave, Buena Vista, VA

Parking
We have both street parking along Magnolia Ave and a parking lot located at the end of the block. If you have young children, mobility needs, or prefer a closer drop-off, there is curbside unloading directly in front of the main entrance, along with designated handicapped parking spaces.

Which Door Do I Use?
Enter through the main front doors — our greeters will be there to welcome you and help you find your way.

When the service ends, people usually stay and visit for a while — talking in the sanctuary and the foyer, meeting new faces, and catching up with friends. You’re welcome to stay as long as you’d like. We’re not in a rush.

Our pastor is available near the sanctuary entrance if you’d like to say hello, ask a question, or request prayer. Whether you’re outgoing or quiet, we’ll make space for you to connect at your own pace.

We also host fellowship meals throughout the year — usually once a quarter and sometimes more often. When we do, everyone (including guests) is invited to stay and enjoy a meal together. It’s a great way to meet people and feel at home.

Whether you’re exploring faith, returning to church after a while, or looking for a place to belong, we’d love to welcome you in person. You don’t have to know everything, believe everything, or have life figured out — just come as you are.
