Vacation Bible School is one of our favorite children’s ministries at Buena Vista Seventh-day Adventist Church!
Each summer, children are invited to join us for a fun-filled week of Bible stories, music, games, crafts, activities, and hands-on learning—all centered on helping kids discover just how much God loves them.
VBS is open to children in our church and throughout the community. Whether your family attends church every week, occasionally, or you’re simply looking for a safe and welcoming place for your child to learn about Jesus, we would love to have you join us.

What Is VBS Like?
Throughout the week, children enjoy a variety of activities designed to make learning about the Bible fun and memorable. A typical VBS includes:
- Engaging Bible stories and lessons
- Music and singing
- Crafts and creative activities
- Games and recreation
- Snacks
- Hands-on activities and surprises
- Opportunities to make new friends
- A special closing program celebrating our week together
Most importantly, everything we do points children toward Jesus and helps them learn that they are known, valued, and deeply loved by God.

Vacation Bible School takes many helping hands! As we prepare for VBS 2027, there will be opportunities to volunteer with decorating, crafts, games, snacks, Bible activities, music, registration, and more.

Rainforest Falls VBS is completely free for families to attend. However, each child who participates represents approximately $75 in materials, crafts, snacks, activities, decorations, gifts, and supplies throughout the week.
